Is a converted e-bike legal in Perth?
Yes, when it's set up right. WA law caps e-bikes at 250W continuous power, with pedal-assist cutting out at 25 km/h. Kits sold online at 500W or 1000W break these rules, and riding one on a WA road or path can cost you a fine or void your insurance. This kit runs at 250W and meets the legal limit, so the bike you get back is road-legal.

The 250W motor and pedal-assist setup meet WA's road rules, so the bike you get back is legal to ride on the street.
If you already own a hub-drive or mid-drive kit, we'll install it for $299. Same mechanic, same home visit, you just supply the hardware.

What's the warranty?
The install carries a 12-month warranty. The Bafang kit carries its own manufacturer warranty, and we'll walk you through the paperwork on the day.
Do I need to supply anything?
No. The $1,900 price covers the kit, the battery, and the install. Bring your bike; we bring everything else.
What if the kit doesn't fit my bike?
We check your bike's bottom bracket and frame before ordering anything. If a mid-drive kit isn't a fit, we'll tell you before you pay a cent and suggest an alternative.
